Maybe you're wondering why there is a site like this up on the web? Well, pretty simple really. I heard there was a bunch of guys competing for the "coolest guy on the planet" title and I thought, "Why can't I be the coolest guy on the planet?" While I don't consider myself to be a SEO expert, I do know a thing or two about SEO, so I figured I'd have a go at knocking off some of the bigger names up the top of google. So I guess my motivations for this are two fold. Firstly, I get to brag to everyone I know that I am now the coolest guy on the planet. And even if I am only on the first page of google, I will be happy. Being one of the ten coolest guys on earth is still a fair achievement in my books. Sure, I don't like my chances of knocking off the #1 guy, he definitely knows what he's doing. I'm pretty confident that I can get myself on the first page. And if you're actually reading this, then there's a fair chance I already am up there as one of the coolest guys around :) The second motivation is to see how good I am at SEO. I've got quite a few sites on the first page of google for rather competitive search terms, but that's not enough for me. I want some more proof. Going up against some big names in IM should be a good test of how well I really do know the SEO game. I recently decided to also try to rank for "The Sexiest Man in Australia". Why, you ask? Why not. Bragging rights would have to be a main motivator I guess. It also gives me a use for my own domain. I registered this a while ago, for no reason other than to make sure that another internet marketer with the name Sean Morrissy, so it's nice to think that I've finally found a decent use for it. Alright, I think that's enough of a rant by now. It wouldn't be too cool to keep ranting on about being the sexiest guy in Australia, when I'm (currently) nowhere to be seen. Perhaps google (in it's infinite wisdom) will decide that I truly am the sexiest man in Australia, in which case, you'll see me in the prized #1 position and then I think it will be time to party.
